Amazon Loses Request To Dismiss Class Action Lawsuit For Failure To Reimburse For Work From Home Connectivity Costs

We predicted the Class Action Lawsuit trend would go national as a result of the “California Ruling on BYOD reimbursement” in 2014.

The Class Action Lawsuit referenced below is predominantly related to the reimbursement for Work From Home Home Internet costs.

Amazon (reported by Bloomberg) lost a request to Dismiss the Class Action Lawsuit in June of this year, and the case if proceeding.

The LA Times named the following companies : Better Mortgage Corp, Wells Fargo Bank, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Visa, Oracle and Bank of America that are also facing the same issues.

We also know of a Tier 1 (globally) Accounting Firm that lost a Class Action Lawsuit as well (we will name the company when we get confirmation that it is in the public domain.)
