Roaming Charges To Increase In EU & UK
The UK operators have stated point blank that they are instituting roaming charges for EU countries at the rates that they have quoted.
What will also occur is the reverse… When people from continental Europe travel to the UK they will also incur roaming charges; as their wireless providers will be charged by UK wireless providers.
Roaming revenue to increase for all EU and UK operators and expect to see increases in prices for wireless plans to reflect increased labour costs and input costs like energy.
Simple question – How will EU regulators respond to EU inflation rates in excess of 5%... Will they be forced to reverse their trends of destroying the business models of wireless operators?
