What Does The Verizon Shakeup Mean For The Industry
The industry continues its downward spiral in the United States.
At Verizon this is the 3rd CEO of Consumer in less than 6 years
Ronan Dunne has been the only CEO of Consumer that has lasted a sufficiently long period of time to make any material impact.
We believe that the continuous organizational changes actually accelerate the downward spiral as nothing is getting done at Telcos other than "Me-Too-Lemming strategies" most notably the concept that a business would pay for a 2nd home internet connection during the pandemic... The wireline team clearly didn't bother talkng to the wireless team and ask them the simple question : "How many of your customers are carrying 2 phones? What was the percentage 10 years ago, 5 years ago, and today..."
