The data comes from popular comparison site PriceSpy, which has crunched the numbers on pricing changes across the last four years generations of Samsung Galaxy S flagship smartphones. The results are shocking.
In just three months, PriceSpy reveals the launch price of these phones fell by an average of over 35%. The worst of these are the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S7 which fell 40.6% and 38.3% respectively. The Galaxy S8 held up the best but still dropped a huge 25.8% in the three months after launch.
