mobilityView Grows Relationship With Ontario Government Selected As One Of Five Focus Companies To Meet The South Korean Consul General

mobilityView was one of five leading innovation companies, and the only wireless representative, selected to meet the Korean Consulate General

Toronto, 25th February 2019 – Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) – whose mission is to support economic growth in Ontario by defending business priorities on behalf of its network’s diverse 60,000 members, selected mobilityView – the leading provider of mobile data platforms for mobile smart devices (smartphones and tablets), to meet with the Korean Consul General in a meeting held on Friday 15th February in Toronto.

The OCC only selected 5 companies that were representative of the best emerging innovation businesses in Ontario. mobilityView was the only innovator selected from within the wireless industry. This follows mobilityView’s selection, by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade; to attend a leading FinTech Conference, FinovateEurope 2019, in the London, UK Financial Centre to demonstrate big data business intelligence, earlier in February 2019, see here. The visit to FinovateEurope 2019 was extremely successful, sees here, and demonstrates a growing relationship between the Ontario Govenrment and mobilityView.

The OCC has recognized that mobilityView has a globally unique (multiple patents issued) technology that is very applicable and attractive to the global wireless industry. “South Korea has historically been a very early adopter of next generation technologies and capabilities. Being invited by the OCC affirms what the deepest subject matter mobile experts have said – what we have done is impossible and that wireless networks cannot deliver a capability like ours. Our next generation analytics engine takes a completely different approach and provides the financial service sector with an increased level of insight that until now, was not available,” says mobilityView CEO, Thom Damstra. “Governments at all levels have recognized the global potential of mobilityView to help grow the Canadian economy. We are thrilled to be announcing our first partnership with the OCC, which builds upon prior wins at the Provincial and Federal level. In January 2017, mobilityView was selected as an Elite Start-up and in October 2017 selected to participate in a 3 country trade mission to Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Guatemala.”

mobilityView’s Smart Business Insight (SBI) Platform drives a series of uncorrelated solutions, which all deliver quantifiable and unambiguous digital transformation. The solutions are applicable for businesses of all sizes, as a function of data-driven insights from mobile smart devices (smartphones, phablets, tablets, etc.). Helping them to:

  • Gain Insight
    • Smart data from mobile smart devices for business problem solving
  • Understand
    • Operational risk, productivity improvements and efficiency
  • Reduce Costs
    • Real-time detailed business / personal usage and cost calculations
  • Automate
    • Expense and taxation reports, mitigate smart device tax risks

“In an IoT (Internet of Things) world, optimal data collection is where people will interact with services, applications, and information on mobile smart devices and not the wireless network. Real-time mobile data analytics from mobile smart devices enhances customer care / in-house productivity apps and enables unique creation of new interactions, business models, and solutions crucial in competing in an IoT world,” said Thom Damstra, CEO of mobilityView. “Real-time mobile smart device based data is always 100% useful, applicable and relevant to business problem solving. mobilityView implements and adheres to Privacy By Design (PbD) principals, which has been adopted at the core of the European Union’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) legislation. This changes the current privacy paradigm, by empowering the users of the system to be in control of their own personal privacy. Ask any CIO or corporate IT department and they will tell you their current IT systems do not deliver this today.”

The SBI Platform is a versatile technology and has already been adapted to create the MCM (Mobile Cost Management) Platform, which is an enterprise cloud service for mobile smart device fleets, enabling enterprises to only pay for business usage of mobile assets. All mobile fleet configurations (COPE, CYOD, BYOD, etc.) supported, resolves taxable-benefit-use associated with personal use and requires no wireless operator integration (OTT). “We put at customers’ fingertips more information about usage of their mobile devices than even their Telecom Operators can provide them. We are also the first solution that can determine business from personal use across all usage types (voice, SMS/MMS and data) and regardless of whether it is Wi-Fi or a wireless network. In fact, we work on every Telecom Operator’s network in the world – we are completely Operator agnostic,” says mobilityView CEO, Thom Damstra.

The MCM Platform is a business solution with some big wins for customers:

Reduce mobile costs by as much as 70%

Provide greater usage detail and analysis than ever before – ever second, every SMS, and every byte of data

No more bill shocks – real time data and analytics with next generation alerting

Reduce the costs of managing mobile device fleets, both capital and manpower

Future proof a company, and their employees, against tax compliancy
